About

This was a blog chronicling my trip to Israel and Jordan in Dec. of 2006. I let it sit for almost 3 years and decided to let it become the outlet for my random and often pointless thoughts and ideas on God, religion, spirituality, and the human condition. I doubt you’ll find any extra insight or profundities here, but you just might walk away thanking God that you don’t live in my head. :)

  1. Uncle Mark,
I find it extremely intresting to read of your experiences in Israel. I have been quite fascinated with the world aborad, since my youngest brother has gone to Iraq to fight in an unstable envoirment with thousands of years of tribal warfare. I have been doing a lot of reading and researching of the middle east latley to hopefully find some sort of answer of why and how so much bloodshed has to be such a huge part of the peoples lives there. I think it is great that you can experience history first hand and see that part of the world through your own eyes and not the twisted medias. I hope you continue to enjoy your visit and I pray you remain safe. Best of luck !!
    Aaron
